•Education • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, or related discipline • Secondary education plus 5 additional years of relevant professional experience (no overlap)
• Language Requirements • Native or near-native English proficiency • NATO STANAG 6001 level 3333 (or accepted equivalent certification or evidence)

Activities:

The Travel Operations and NATO Financial System Support Specialist provides administrative and coordination support for travel-related financial processes within O/BUDFIN. The role supports reimbursements, entitlements, and data entry in the Allied Command Transformation Financial System, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuity of financial operations for multinational personnel supporting JATEC activities.

• Process routine financial transactions related to:
• Travel arrangements Subsidies, reimbursements, and entitlements
• Verify financial documentation and ensure correct charging to financial accounts
• Collect, organize, and maintain financial data and supporting documentation
• Enter and maintain approved data in the ACT Financial System
• Conduct routine reviews of travel-related financial records and flag discrepancies
• Provide administrative coordination for travel reimbursement mechanisms
• Support internal controls, financial oversight, and reporting activities
• Assist with briefings or information sessions on travel-related financial processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of travel-related financial administration
